Synopsis:
Colonel Trautman (Richard Crenna) attempts to recruit John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) to help train the mujahideen in their fight against the Soviet Union, but Rambo refuses. When Trautman decides to go it alone and is captured by a sadistic Soviet officer (Marc de Jonge), Rambo mounts an impossible rescue mission to save his friend.
